Starting a new fitness journey doesn’t always mean that we have to go it alone. Having a good support system or someone to join you on the journey can make for a great experience.
Terry Lemons has been working with a Functional Aging Specialist for over a year now, and the impact it has had on him has been life-changing. Terry and his wife both exercise together and support one another.
Now 58 year’s old, Terry’s results have been nothing short of AMAZING! Both he and his wife work hard, rarely miss, and they love working out with a small group of others near to their ages.
“I enjoy it. I’ve lost fat, gained more muscle, I feel good, and it’s the best thing that’s happened to me in a long time.” – Terry Lemons, 58
Great Start with a Challenge!
Getting your “fitness rocket” off the ground is the toughest part of a fitness journey. Many fitness studios, like ours, hold quarterly Challenges to assist with a new person’s fitness launch.
What does this have to do with you? Well, a challenge is a great way for you to get started and it gives you the opportunity to give a Functional Aging Specialist a try as well.
Terry has had great success because he supports his wife and does the nutrition along with her when she is on a challenge.
“My wife started to diet. I quit drinking sodas and started eating the food she was eating. I started to lose some weight then decided I needed to work out.”
Now, just over a year of working out, Terry is still coming strong, and it has been one of the best decisions of his life. It all started because he decided to support his wife on her fitness journey and it has been life changing for both of them!
“I would recommend this to anybody because I didn’t know if I could do it or not, but I found out that I can exercise and feel good about it.”
