Heart Walk
October 6, 2018 | Whataburger Field
Walk begins at 8:30 am
Join walkers from across our community as they step out to have fun, get inspired & support a meaningful cause.
Event Schedule
7:30 a.m. – Check-in opens
8:00 a.m. – Welcome Ceremony
This welcome ceremony serves as a time to gather all of the walkers & teams together. Various announcements will be made regarding the route, the after party inside of Whataburger Field, and more. As soon as the ceremony is over, the walk will begin.
8:30 a.m. – Walk Starts
The Heart Walk will begin promptly at 8:30 am. It is a noncompetitive, 5K (3.1-mile) with various water stations and selfie stops along the way. Be sure your team gathers at the start line prior to 8:30 a.m.
Where to meet your team: Due to the large amount of walkers, we encourage participants to arrive early. Team YPB will meet at the main entrance gates of Whataburger Field.
Know Before You Go:
Parking: Free parking is located across the street from Whataburger Field, in the main parking lot.
What to Wear: The event will take place rain or shine, so be sure to check the weather forecast and dress appropriately!
Strollers, wheelchairs, wagons, and walkers are welcome at the Heart Walk. Bring the entire family out!
After returning to Whataburger Field, make sure to go up the main stairs and visit the various booths located around the entire venue. The final part of the 5K includes a full circle around the inside of Whataburger Field. Inside you will find CPR demonstrations, a Kids Area, Food, Prize Giveaways and more!
