    Event Schedule

    7:30 a.m. – Check-in opens

8:00 a.m. – Welcome Ceremony (Team Wear Your YPB Heart Walk T-Shirts)

This welcome ceremony serves as a time to gather all of the walkers & teams together. Various announcements will be made regarding the route, the after party inside of Whataburger Field, and more. As soon as the ceremony is over, the walk will begin.

     8:30 a.m. – Walk Starts

The Heart Walk will begin promptly at 8:30 am. It is a noncompetitive, 5K (3.1-mile) with various water stations and selfie stops along the way. Be sure your team gathers at the start line prior to 8:30 a.m.

Where to meet your team: Due to the large amount of walkers, we encourage participants to arrive early. Team YPB will meet at the main entrance gates of Whataburger Field.

    Know Before You Go:

Parking: Free parking is located across the street from Whataburger Field, in the main parking lot.

What to Wear: The event will take place rain or shine, so be sure to check the weather forecast and dress appropriately!

Strollers, wheelchairs, wagons, and walkers are welcome at the Heart Walk. Bring the entire family out!

After returning to Whataburger Field, make sure to go up the main stairs and visit the various booths located around the entire venue. The final part of the 5K includes a full circle around the inside of Whataburger Field. Inside you will find CPR demonstrations, a Kids Area, Food, Prize Giveaways and more!

12 miles not enough for you? How about 35 miles starting and ending at the same point? This is an unpublished part of this event because it will lack support.

That doesn’t mean we don’t support you doing this, (rah rah, yeah you!) It means there will not be SAG or city police involved in the 35 mile part of this event. So take responsibility for yourself, still donate here and let’s all ride together in one of these offerings on Saturday morning, October 26th!

    See you there!

    Refer A Friend Drive
    Nov 2 – Nov 12 all-day

Wanna know what 3 months of FREE training looks like? Thank you Susan Miller Ames for referring people just like YOU to our studio!

Let Susan’s success motivate you for the NEXT (now 9 days) of our referral program.

    Here’s how it works.

    1. Ask your ‍‍‍family, friends, neighbors and co-workers (preferably over 50 years old) if they would like to receive exclusivity to our fitness e newsletter and give us their email address. It’s that simple!!!

The newsletters (as you know) are full of motivational articles, tips, 2 x weekly recipes, success stories and so much more! Tell them they can even unsubscribe if they don’t want it!

    2. For every 5 email addresses we receive through November 12th (you MUST ask them first) I will enter you into a drawing for your choice of a FREE YPB hat (red or white) or one of our new t-shirts that just came in. You may email, text, messenger me, send a picture or leave a scrap of paper on our desk with the addresses.

The MORE addresses you give us (5, 10, 15, 20) the MORE chances you have to win!

    3. BONUS! If any of your referrals end up training with us on long term agreement (Just like Susan’s referrals) I will refund 1/2 your training for the following month. I AM paying you for your referrals who decide to hang their fitness hat in my studio for 7 or 11 months (12th is FREE)!

All we need are qualified email addresses. We will do the heavy lifting! ️‍♂️

If you are no longer a jumper (many of us over 50 are not anymore) then be SURE to do rounds of THIS suggested activity BEFORE your daily shower! (10 minutes worth)
