How did you hear about YPB and what brought you to the studio? I met Lisa at a Health Fair at TAMUCC six months prior. I was on the lookout for a job when I saw that YPB had an internship position open and excitedly, applied.
What attracted you to YPB? I am a bit of a health nut and love exercising. Along with that, I love seeing others improve themselves and the quality of their lives through their own tenacity and hard work.
What unique qualities do you bring to Team YPB that might set you apart (even just a little bit)? I am very flexible and am able to do anything I put my mind to. I genuinely care for and about others which enables me to be an understanding, yet persistent team member.
What is your own weekly fitness routine? I do strength training 3 times a week and do cardio 2-3 times a week.
What type of community activities are you involved in? I like to participate in walks for a cause, on-campus events, and generally volunteer around the community in any regard whenever the opportunity arises.
What do you look forward to the most working with men/women over 50, their health challenges and/or disabilities? I look forward to helping the 50+ crowd realize that they are capable of so much more than they think and that the world is their oyster, they just need to have the courage to face and embrace the unknown.
What is your favorite fitness/inspirational/motivational quote? “Your life changes the day you take responsibility for it.”
